Abstract 한글 요약
An ergosterol analogue, pregne-1, 20-dien-3-one, with anti-lung cancer activity was isolated from coral. The compound displayed moderate antiproliferative activity against human non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) A549 cell lines , with an IC value of 58.77 μM. Molecular docking experiments showed pregne-1, 20-dien-3-one could stably bind to the mechanistic target of rapamycin (mTOR) protein. Western blot assays further confirmed that pregne-1, 20-dien-3-one targeted mTOR protein and inhibited phosphorylation of mTOR protein. These findings suggest that pregne-1, 20-dien-3-one may serve as a potential candidate for the development of marine-derived anti-NSCLC agents, warranting further investigation into its precise mechanism of action and therapeutic potential.
