TL;DR It is found that ALDH1L2 expression is a poor prognostic factor for SCLC patients and that high ALDH1L2 expression can negatively regulate the level of cellular lipid peroxidation and inhibit ferroptosis, thereby promoting SCLC chemoresistance.
