Fat hypertrophy after autologous fat transfer.
Abstract
[PURPOSE] To describe fat graft hypertrophy after autologous fat transfer.
[METHODS] Case report.
[RESULTS] Noticeable hypertrophy of autologous fat grafts at approximately 10-year follow-up.
[CONCLUSIONS] This case report demonstrates the unpredictable nature of autologous fat grafting. Clinicians should be aware of this potential complication of fat hypertrophy after autologous fat grafting.
