Nevertheless, the increasing popularity of cosmetic surgery with its constant media presence, is not without its dangers, since such interventions are not always performed by specialists. Cosmetic surgeon is not a protected professional title. Only plastic surgeons receive the necessary training to do such operations. All this means that quality assurance is of ever greater importance.
