The Medial Paramuscular Approach to DIEP Flap Pedicle Dissection: Incorporating Rectus Diastasis Repair into Routine Donor-Site Closure.
Abstract
Deep inferior epigastric artery perforator flap harvest carries a risk of post-operative muscle weakness. The authors describe a novel minimally-invasive technique for pedicle dissection that requires no additional equipment and effectively minimises abdominal weakness.
