Abstract
The face and neck lift is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic surgical procedures. There have been multiple different variations in the procedure to try to produce optimal outcomes for patients. Rather than offering a specific recipe for facial rejuvenation we propose an algorithmic approach that can be specifically tailored to each individual patient's needs. We prefer a high SMAS procedure that has proven longevity and capability to comprehensively improve results for the patients. We have not seen a previous algorithm for the treatment of facial aging and now offer a decision tree to optimize patient outcomes.
