Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons Presidential Address: Charting the Course.

The 2024 Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons Presidential Address explores many topics relating to the importance of mentorship. Doctor Tara Huston shares her path in medicine and surgery. Parallel to that, she discusses the increasing number of women in plastic surgery. She reviews the history of the Northeastern and explains the genesis of our women's committee. She also details the board retreat, which provided direction for the society. Integral to all of this is the concept of mentorship and why it is important to our future success as plastic surgeons.
