【연구 목적】 제1수지간격(adduction contracture of the first web space)의 유착을 해제하기 위해 엄지등부(dorsum of thumb)의 피부를 활용한 국소 피판(local flap) 기법을 소개하고 그 임상적 유용성을 검증하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다.

Abstract
A local flap, utilizing the skin over the dorsum of the thumb, for release of a first web space contracture has been described. Its construction allows for full integumentary release, adequate visualization of underlying contracted tissues, and a closure that provides full thickness sensory skin coverage over the entire web space and key pinch contact area.
