The value of routine breast biopsy at the time of augmentation mammaplasty.
Abstract
A series of patients who had biopsies of breast nodules during augmentation mammaplasty is reviewed. We conclude that such procedures performed for discrete lesions yield valuable information. In this series, the biopsies did not result in an increased rate of complications.
