【연구 목적】 손가락 중수지관절(MP joint) 수술 시 단일 횡방향 절개 대신 이중 곡선 절개법(dual curved incisions)을 적용하여 수술 부위의 부종과 혈종 발생을 줄이고 피부 치유를 개선하고자 하였다.

Abstract
Two transverse curved incisions have been used for surgical procedures on all 4-finger MP joints. The edema and hematoma beneath the incision are reduced, and the skin healing is excellent. The exposure is more than sufficient for all the commonly employed surgical procedures on these 4 joints. The final appearance is as good as with a single transverse curved incision.
