【연구 목적】 나이지리아 이바단 대학교 병원(University College Hospital)에서 1969년부터 1977년까지 관찰된 요도하소(hypospadias) 환자의 임상적 특징과 관련 기형을 분석하여 해당 지역의 발생 양상을 규명하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다.

Abstract
We present a review of 42 cases of hypospadias seen at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria from 1969 to 1977. The incidence was low. No family history of hypospadias was noted in any of these patients. Fifty-seven percent had associated anomalies--mostly of the genitourinary system. Most of the patients had been circumscribed on arrival for treatment.
