Abstract
During the years 1973--1976, 609 children and adolescents, aged between 4 months and 18 years, have been operated on for facial soft-tissue lesions at an oral surgery outpatient service. 451 of these patients could be re-examined. The general late sequelae and the functional and aesthetic repercussions of circatrization were scrutinized and compared with the method of treatment and the postoperative course.
