【연구 목적】 나이지리아 환자에서 하악 전치부(symphyseal region)는 상피성 치아종(ameloblastoma)이 가장 흔히 발생하는 부위임에도 불구하고, 해당 부위의 병변 절제술과 관련된 미용적 결손 및 재건 문제의 중요성이 충분히 논의되지 않았다.

Abstract
The symphyseal region of the mandible is the commonest site of location of ameloblastoma in Nigerian patients. The hazards of resection of the lesion together with the aesthetic defects and problems of reconstruction are discussed in light of the authors' experience.
