Abstract
We present the case of a 40-year-old female patient with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) who had been chest pain and worsening dyspnea for about ten days. She went to the Emergency Department due to persistent symptoms, and she had clinical, laboratory, and imaging tests. An unenhanced Computed Tomography (CT) was urgently made to treat the patient and for monitoring her clinical conditions. CT had documented the presence of a large amount of pericardial effusion (cardiac tamponade) that was evident circumferentially around the heart, and also a bilateral pleural effusion.
