[Mastopexy with few scars].
Abstract
Conventional techniques of reduction mammaplasty result in obvious and sometimes unpleasant scars. G. Peixoto (1980, 1984, 1985) has developed a technique of mastopexy and reduction mammaplasty which leaves only minimal scars. Good results are to be achieved in younger females with contractile skin with breast asymmetry and moderate mammary hypertrophy and ptosis. Typical examples are demonstrated resulting only in a periareolar scar.
