Abstract

Even in cosmetic surgery, medical law does not define any obligation in terms of results, but an obligation in terms of methods and information. As cosmetic surgery is an elective procedure, if it is induced as a result of publicity considered to be abusive, this obligation of methods could become an obligation of results. A rigorous approach to information is the only way to ensure that it is not confused with publicity.
