Abstract
There is no reason to believe that humans will not continue in their never-ending quest for self-fulfillment, for in it mankind carries forward the purpose of life itself. Through the art and science of aesthetics, specialists throughout the various health professions are cooperating to help individuals from all socio-economic backgrounds overcome appearance-related afflictions and improve the quality of life. (Figure 10).
